This is a full-body patient/resident lift sling. It has the same applications as the Deluxe Sling but does not have the additional padding in the leg for extra comfort. The Regular Sling puts the hips into a natural hip deflection. This makes it a good choice when a person is dealing with a hip fracture or recovering from hip surgery, because the body is placed into the natural hip deflection when being lifted.

There are 3 loop lengths to be able to adjust the patient to seated position, supine position, or reclined position depending on the need.
• Legs long loop, shoulders short loop. This places person in a seated position and is commonly used for
transfers from bed to chair, chair to toilet or wheelchair.
• Legs long loop, shoulders long loop. this places the person in a more supine position for transfers from a
chair to bed. It is also typically used when lifting from the floor because the extra length helps to make it
easier to hook up to the lift.
• Shortening the loops on the legs or lengthening the loops on the shoulders will place the person in
a reclined position that still allows a seated transfer, but helps prevent them from falling out by
deflecting the hips forward. This helps with people with less torso control.

The Regular Sling is available with optional head support and optional belt for those who may lean. Sling sizes range from Small to XL, and have a weight capacity 1,000 lbs. Keep in mind that the sling must fit the body style and size of the person, and the person using the sling must not exceed the rated weight capacity of the lift.

This sling is available in washable, antimicrobial, mesh, and single patient use fabrics.
